Established in 1938, the Stavropol State Medical University, Stavropol, Russian Federation, is today recognized to be one among the top five universities in Russia. Nearly 3500 Russian and over 600 foreign students from 18 countries are enrolled for the Post Graduate Medical Courses in Medicine, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Paediatrics, Dentistry and Nursing. The Post Graduate Faculty is one of the largest in Russia, trains over 3500 physicians in 32 specialties annually.
